NSIC Registration: Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS)
The Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS) is a government initiative under the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in participating in government tenders. This scheme provides a single point of registration, simplifying the tender process and giving registered MSMEs certain benefits, such as exemption from earnest money deposits and free tender participation.
Exemption from Earnest Money Deposit: Registered MSMEs are exempt from submitting earnest money deposits (EMD) while participating in government tenders.
Free Tender Information: Registered MSMEs receive free access to tender information.
Preferential Treatment: MSMEs under SPRS receive preferential treatment in government procurements and can benefit from price preferences in certain cases.
Step 1: Documentation: Gather necessary documents, including Udyam Registration, GST, PAN, audited financial statements, and proof of past supplies or contracts.
Step 2: Consultation: Reach out to Arsh Consultancy for expert guidance through the registration process.
Step 3: Application Submission- : Submit the application along with the required documents through the NSIC online portal.
Step 4: Verification and Approval: After document verification and site inspection, the NSIC issues the registration certificate.
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) involved in manufacturing or providing services are eligible.
The enterprise must have Udyam Registration, a GST registration certificate, and PAN.
The business must be at least one year old, with a track record of supplying goods or services to government departments, PSUs, or large private companies.
